hmm
well i’m not really sure what i believe
but when you evaluate it all there is SO MUCH to suggest that there is an after life of sorts or at least this world was designed by something
however i also don’t think any current religion is really true, all very human concepts
but i like the idea of us being recycled…in a way as a thank you for the life we’ve been given. like we go back into the ground and become apart of nature and the flowers ‘you eat the cow the cow eats you’ sort of thing
and i have no clue what happens to our souls, i’m not even sure if we have souls
but i do like the concept of souls because if we didn’t have them we’d all be very simple and i dislike that thought- i am not simple. maybe our souls are like energy and transfered to the people we love or something idk
but those are just ideas
thank you for the nice ask :)
Michael Wolf - Bastard Chairs (2002)
“What Wolf calls The Bastard Chairs of China challenge the notion of our standard definition of a chair. Cobbled together from whatever debris and flotsam is available, there is something to be learned here—that a chair is a chair is a chair. And while we can appreciate the beauty and art of what we call ‘designer’ chairs throughout history and today, when all is said and done, what matters is that we have a place to rest our bones.”
